Board signs agreements, awards contracts and appoints HHS director; approves $24,720 digital preservation project

During its April 15 meeting the Board approved an agreement for the Chisago Lake and Lakes Improvement District (CLLID) to provide staff time and equipment to the Chisago Soil & Water Conservation District to implement an MPCA‑funded Chisago Chain of Lakes Watershed Nine Key Element Plan. The Board also approved a Professional Technical Services contract with the Chisago Soil and Water Conservation District and moved several Budget & Finance Committee recommendations.
Among the Budget & Finance actions, the Board approved the Digital Preservation of Commissioner Minutes (1852–2025) searchable project with Arcaserach, selecting Option B for $24,720 to be paid from Recorder Compliance Funds. The Board also approved PeerConnect support for the Sheriff’s Office, multiple contingency-funded repairs, an amended purchase of service agreement for Resource and Training Solutions, and the State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreement for the Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program. Finally, the Board appointed Vickie Goulette as Chisago County Health & Human Services Director; the motion carried unanimously.
