The Select Board approved a series of personnel actions and routine municipal business on June 2. Motions carried to appoint Riley Brown, Jamal Robert and Elizabeth Smith to the police academy roster; to approve the Personal Action Form for Mary Tynling as Director of Assessing; and to appoint Lisa Cowton as assistant treasurer/collector. The board also approved a 2.5% cost‑of‑living adjustment for full‑ and part‑time personnel.
In addition to personnel motions, the board approved vendor warrant totals for the weeks in late May, authorized water and sewer commitment bills (a listed $6,366.04 final bill and a larger residential commitment), approved a cemetery lot perpetual care deed and signed off on a block party and the Dunkin' 5K road race. Several Southeastern Regional Service Group DPW supply awards and chemical contracts for 07/01/2026–06/30/2027 were also approved as part of routine procurement participation in a purchasing group.
