Jared presented three requested fund adjustments and asked the council to open a public hearing. The first request was to add $108,448 to complete the design portion of a combined new pump station serving Sunbrook Golf (the design cost is $168,448; $60,000 was already budgeted). The second and third requests added bridge-design funds to two GO-bond-funded trail projects: Fort Pierce Wash Trail ($456,400) and Santa Clara River Trail ($447,282), with funding coming from prior FY25 rollover and the 2024 GO bond issuance.
"Staff request to amend the budget in the amount of $108,448 to design a new pump station at Sunbrook," Jared said, and later detailed the requested bridge-design rollovers for each trail project. After a public hearing with no speakers, the council approved Resolution 2026-008 r by roll call vote, unanimously, allowing staff to proceed with the design procurements and incorporate the rollovers into the FY25/26 accounts.
Council members complimented staff for coordinating bids and finding cost savings where possible. Staff said funding is available in reserves and bond proceeds and that procurement and design work will proceed once the amendments are recorded.
