Floyd County sets FY27 health, dental premiums; COBRA options listed

The action passed on a Carr/Rottinghaus motion, 3-0.
The board also approved two dental plan tiers with employer and employee splits and listed COBRA/509A rates. COBRA/509A entries include a Wellmark-only Single Health rate of $887 per month and a Wellmark-only Family Health rate of $2,192 per month; additional partially self-funded options were recorded (e.g., single at $987/mo.; family at $2,394/mo.). The board recorded the rates for budgeting and benefit-administration purposes as part of its FY27 planning.
