Hanover receives 23 new DD waiver assignments; Support Coordination begins intake

Hanover’s Support Coordination team reported that local Waiver Slot Allocation Committee (WSAC) actions allocated 18 new developmental disability waiver assignments to the county—16 Family & Individual Supports (FIS) and 2 Community Living (CL)—after the local WSAC combined two quarters. The regional WSAC later added five additional FIS waivers, bringing the total 23 new waivers for intake and assignment.
Support Coordinators began meeting with each of the 23 new waiver recipients to complete acceptance documentation before transferring individuals to assigned support coordinators and initiating plan-of-care coordination. Supported Employment and Day Support programs also reported program activities and recognition during National Developmental Disability Awareness month.
