Hanover CSB accepts dozens of donations, forwards two larger contributions to County Administrator

The Hanover County Community Services Board reviewed a long list of donations during its April 20 packet review and voted unanimously to accept the items that required board approval. Donations detailed in the packet ranged from a $60 in-kind hygiene-kit donation from West Point Community Church to larger contributions. Two large items were forwarded to the County Administrator as recommendations for acceptance: a $7,090.85 donation listed under Leslie Halstead (motion recommended by Ed Gooding, seconded by Sue Randolph) and a $12,000 donation from the Jane & Arthur Flippo Foundation to the RAFT Member Fund (recommended by Ed Gooding and seconded by Sue Randolph).
