Nobles County approves Deputy Sergeant, Highway and Public Health union contracts

At its April 22 meeting, the Nobles County Board approved three bargaining agreements reached after negotiations this year. The Highway contract was approved with pay to begin April 13, 2025 (not retroactive) and included a one-time lump sum payment of $500. The Public Health contract addendum was approved with the same April 13, 2025 effective pay date and a one-time $500 lump sum.
Each contract was presented as concluded after negotiations with county and union teams. The Deputy Sergeant contract motion was recorded as moved by Chris Dybevick and seconded by Justin Ahlers. The Highway contract approval was moved by Robert S. Demuth and seconded by Chris Dybevick. The Public Health addendum approval was moved by Justin Ahlers and seconded by Chris Dybevick.
