The council also approved an ordinance directing continuation of several ad‑valorem mills for a 10‑year period beginning 2026 and ending 2035 to fund public health units, recreation facilities, and public buildings (millages listed in the ordinance language included amounts such as 1.67 and 2.52 mills as specified). A separate minor subdivision acceptance (Blue Ridge Point Phase E) was approved. No public speakers addressed these items during the hearing and all votes recorded were unanimous among those present.
