The Wayne County Community Facilities Development Corporation (WCCFDC) Governance Committee on Feb. 24, 2026, reviewed organizational goals and performance measures and recommended that the board remove the hazard-mitigation goal established during COVID. Deputy Director Katie Bronson told members that, besides adding an IDA housing measure in 2025, the organization’s other performance measurements remain unchanged. The committee approved June 2025 minutes earlier in the meeting.
Later in the WCCFDC meeting, Chairperson Kaye Stone-Gansz asked what the total amount the organization can offer for a qualifying project would be; Bronson replied the organization can offer up to $150,000 to a qualifying project. The meeting adjourned at 8:55 A.M.; the committee noted the next Governance meeting will be scheduled as needed in 2026.
