Acting County Treasurer Megan Fralick told the Finance Committee there are "currently 258 properties on the parcel tax foreclosure list." She and Chief Accountant Jamie Corteville said notices are being posted and that a Sheriff's deputy is accompanying staff for safety when required. Corteville also reported that the county’s ARPA fourth‑quarter reporting has been submitted.
The Committee approved related transmittals 5‑0: an amendment to the contract with Independent Title Agency, Inc.; authorization to contract for auctioneer services for the 2026 tax foreclosure auctions; and an extension of the NYSID scanning project covering the Treasurer’s Office and County Clerk’s Office. The minutes do not record projected revenues from the scheduled auctions or a timeline for individual foreclosures.
