The Wayne County Board of Supervisors authorized the Mental Health Department to accept $348,057 in state aid from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) to support Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) obligations and to create a Program Supervisor position (salary range $80,175–$87,915). The board resolved that if funding ceases the position will be abolished unless extended by board resolution.
Mr. Rose presented the request, which included a detailed budget adjustment allocating $87,915 to the Program Supervisor title and line items for retirement, social security, hospitalization, travel, supplies and equipment related to OMH AOT requirements. The board subsequently appointed Molly Pulinski as Program Supervisor effective Feb. 27, 2026 at Grade 8, Step 6, contingent on Management Confidential Advisory Committee approval.
