The Colebrook Select Board recorded that the Harvey Swell construction contract has been awarded and the paperwork sent to the state, and the town is awaiting an official Notice of Award from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
Town Manager Tim Stevens told the board that 'so far we have paid $197,769.00 for Harvey Swell, SO as soon as we can send a bill, we need to.' Board members discussed whether the town could request monthly reimbursements and noted past projects where partial claims (for example, 40%) were possible once award and invoicing procedures were in place.
Selectmen said they will ask staff for copies of the bids and the Notice of Award when available; the minutes record that bid materials will be provided to the board when NHDOT returns them.
