Board members discussed park improvements and reported CNX is funding a second pavilion at Seanor Farm Park and will replace Church Street bridge. Supervisor Ken Trumbetta said, "we are thinking of putting the second pavilion right below the other one with additional parking." Supervisor Kerry Jobe added he is already turning down rentals for next year because demand is high.
The minutes record that CNX bought out APEX and that the township's consultant cautioned funding timing could be affected by the federal government shutdown; the consultant told the board they "won't know until November 18th" whether funding will proceed and that Nov. 30 is the application deadline for alternate options. The minutes do not include project contracts, cost estimates, or a finalized schedule.
