Supervisor Ken Trumbetta said the uniform contract "cost the Township lots of money and most aren't using it," and the board discussed offering a boot allowance instead of a full uniform contract. The board voted unanimously to approve the expenditures.
In related business the board approved placement of comprehensive insurance for 2025–2026 through Assured Partners with an estimated premium of $58,004 (down from $59,282). The supervisors also approved renewal of the volunteer fire department workers' compensation policy through the State Workers Insurance Fund (SWIF) at an estimated premium of $25,787, reduced from $33,514. Both motions passed unanimously.
