Council appoints Jeff Keeney to Planning Commission and approves Sage Lot DA amendment

Mayor Richard L. Sorensen moved to appoint Jeff Keeney to the Planning Commission; Councilmember Bruce Ahlstrom seconded and the council approved the appointment by roll-call vote (3–0). Jeff Keeney will serve on the commission pending the standard appointment process.
On a separate land-use matter, Taylor Alvarez of Cole West explained that homeowners who purchased the neighboring lot now own two lots and sought an amendment to the Sage Lot 4/5 development agreement so each lot could have a separate sewer and water connection. Councilmembers said that ownership entitled the property to two connections and approved the DA amendment (motion passed 3–0).
