WWJPB approves 2025 audit, confirms no 2026 audit required

The Whitewater Joint Powers Board reviewed copies of the 2025 audit report prepared by Katie Jacobson and voted to approve the report. Board members noted the 2025 audit was completed under the assumption that the WWJPB was in liquidation, and staff (with input from the Winona County assistant attorney) confirmed a separate 2026 audit would not be necessary.
On motion by Lynn Zabel, seconded by Andy Kronebusch, the board voted to approve the 2025 audit report. The vote was recorded as 'Yes – All.'
