Gayla Hess reported the Montana 250 grant agreement with Clark had been approved by the Commission to support at least eight new oral-history interviews. “She updated the group that the agreement with Clark has been approved by the Commission for at least 8 new interviews,” the minutes state.
The board discussed expanding outreach to younger generations and several members volunteered to contact potential interviewees (Bob two, Tammy two, Terry one, Gayla one). Rose Nyman moved to approve the potential names to be contacted for oral history; Terry LaValley seconded and the motion passed 5-0. The board noted it had not voted to expand the total number of oral histories beyond the approved grant amount.
