The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Commission approved a slate of appointments March 3, including a contested appointment to the Board of Adjustments and several uncontroversial confirmations.
Commissioner Paul Smith moved to appoint Joe Ungaretti to the Board of Adjustments; Commissioner Ed Beaudette opposed appointing a department head to that board and cast the lone dissent. The motion carried 3-1. The commission also appointed Nicole Cline to the County Tax Appeal Board (4-0), reappointed Camille Erickson to the Public Housing Authority Board (4-0), and reappointed Dan Reardon to the Planning Board after public endorsement by Rose Nyman; those votes were unanimous.
The appointments will be processed by the CEO's office and return to county records; no appeals or additional hearings were recorded during the meeting.
