Committee signs emergency management grant acceptance and authorizes bridge grant applications

The Berrien County Administration Committee signed two resolutions during its March 19 meeting.
Resolution A2603187 accepts the FY25 Emergency Management Performance Grant. Resolution A2603188 authorizes applications to the Michigan Department of Transportation for Local Bridge Program funding for the FY28–29 construction season. The committee recorded the signatures on both resolutions during the meeting.
The committee also approved the minutes of the March 12, 2026 meeting (motion by Alex Ott, supported by Sharon Tyler). Commissioner Teri Freehling pulled Resolution P2603175, a complement-change item for the Road Department, and sent it back to Administration for formal approval and further review.
