The commission noted two recent departures have reduced active membership and raised concerns about maintaining a quorum for decision-making.
The group reviewed the application process for new members: prospective volunteers are asked to submit a letter of interest to Justin for Select Board review. Commissioners said they will continue recruiting — including outreach to neighboring towns and use of social media — but took no formal vote on Horner’s appointment at the Oct. 8 meeting.
