The Salem Township Board of Supervisors on Nov. 19 preliminarily approved and authorized advertisement of the township’s 2026 Proposed Budget, with final approval scheduled for the Dec. 17 public meeting. Supervisor Ken Trumbetta moved the budget action and the board voted unanimously to advertise the proposal.
Supervisor Kerry Jobe told the board that potential changes to the paving schedule — discussed later in the meeting — could affect the budget’s line items and asked that any adjustments be considered at the December approval. Solicitor Atty. Falatovich said that revising the budget line item to reflect a paving deferral is permissible and the board could address it at the December meeting. The board recorded no objections and the motion passed unanimously.
