Council extends free use of Huntsville Town Hall to Ogden Valley City for six months

The council approved Resolution 2026-6-16-A, which continues allowing Ogden Valley City to use Huntsville Town Hall and a maintenance-building meeting room for city meetings and operations. The extension covers an additional six months and contains a clause allowing the mayor to set or administratively adjust time limits instead of redoing the resolution every six months. "They are in financial stress so they are extending the agreement for another 6 months," Town staff said during the meeting.
Council discussion noted Ogden Valley City’s use of the building generates some calendar conflicts but also brings foot traffic to Town Hall. TCM Sandy Hunter asked whether the town could receive a calendar of room usage so Huntsville could better plan its own meetings. The resolution passed 5-0 on a roll-call vote.
