A parks commissioner (speaker 8) said the city’s existing map was updated to match GPS coordinates, featured refreshed graphics and a QR code linking to the online map. The mayor thanked volunteers and said the council will adopt the map.
Thomas Peters (speaker 5), who identified himself as a Chattahoochee Hills resident and Serendi/Art Farm landscape director, described volunteer work restoring pollinator habitat, a composting facility and the Art Farm’s plan to fund polyvinyl laminate signage and a kiosk pavilion for Hutchinson Ferry Park. He said signage would include QR codes linking to maps and the city website. "We would add bench seating and a back billboard that the sign would be mounted to," Peters said.
The council indicated support for adopting the map and asked staff to place the donation/resolution on the agenda for formal acceptance.
