Heather Carrington noted lighting had been identified as a priority in the town's 2022 master plan survey and recommended adding lighting regulations to the base zoning to address light pollution, glare and sky glow. The commission agreed to include overlay language requiring shielded fixtures, lighting directed toward the owner's property and design that avoids glare and traffic hazards; Carrington offered to draft ordinance language for review.
