Interim administrator proposes halving Committee of the Whole meetings

Interim Administrator Mike Sepic presented an option to reduce Committee of the Whole meetings from four times per month to twice per month, saying the change would "reduce the number of unnecessary meetings due to lack of programming to present" and ease administrative scheduling and last‑minute cancellations. Sepic said the change would provide a clearer calendar for residents and relieve stress on administration preparing meetings with little programming.
Several commissioners supported bringing the matter to the full Board of Commissioners for further consideration. Commissioners Robert Harrison and Jon Hinkelman suggested the County also review reducing the number of full Board of Commissioner meetings to twice monthly. The Committee reached consensus to place the scheduling review on the upcoming Board agenda; no formal motion to change meeting frequency was adopted at this session.
