County reviews MOU with Strasburg tying water and sewer service to annexation on B2 parcel

County Administrator Evan Vass briefed the board on a memorandum of understanding among the Town of Strasburg, Shenandoah County and Holtzman Mason Property LLC regarding water and sewer service.
Vass said the property is identified as B2 and that Strasburg "has agreed that in exchange for water and sewer services to be connected they would annex this into their jurisdiction." He added that a future boundary-line adjustment process will be needed to formalize that change.
A public commenter questioned whether the MOU affects the county budget, but the meeting record contains no further action on the MOU at this session.
