Pratt County votes to withdraw from suits against two pharmacy benefit managers, says wider opioid settlement participation remains

The motion to withdraw was made by Commissioner Rick Shriver, seconded by Commissioner Thomas W. Jones III, and passed 3-0. The commission had earlier met in a short attorney‑client executive session to discuss opioid litigation but returned with no action from that session before taking the withdrawal vote.

Pratt County’s action narrows its participation in specific amended claims while maintaining the county’s involvement in the larger settlement framework as explained by counsel.
