James (county staff) and Motorola representatives provided a pricing summary and explained that maintenance and SUA (system upgrade agreement) fees would continue to cover on‑site responses and network connectivity.
Commissioner Holt moved that the court issue a purchase order to capture the vendor discount and allow staff to use contingency funding as needed; the motion was seconded and passed on a unanimous voice vote. Court minutes record a deadline for initiating the purchase order and for issuing any required budget adjustments. The county also approved smaller contingency transfers tied to radio infrastructure maintenance at the same meeting.
