"We're the boots," Erica Beeler said, describing the firm's approach of sending experienced clinicians and finance leaders to work alongside local staff rather than producing a lengthy off‑site report. The team introduced Jim Brown, a former HCA regional CFO, and Dr. Daryl Nelson, a physician with hospital leadership experience, as part of the initial team expected to be on site in the first weeks.
Beeler said Phase 1 is budgeted as 250 hours over roughly 16 weeks and would prioritize operations and immediate financial stabilization, with an optional Phase 2 to provide an on‑site manager afterward. The presenters stressed they can begin analysis quickly and work in parallel to implement changes.
Commissioners pressed for clarity on timing, on‑site cadence and transparency. Beeler said the lead consultant (Bob) would provide weekly written reports and that they would accommodate additional access for PRMC personnel and county stakeholders. The board and commission acknowledged the PRMC board's unanimous recommendation and discussed negotiating contract terms and indemnification points with prior firms (including a separate vendor, Accordion) that had been considered earlier in the process.
