The Town of Winhall Selectboard voted unanimously March 19 to cancel the Special Town Meeting scheduled for April 29, 2025, and to reschedule it for 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Town Garage in Bondville. The meeting will consider a rescinded vote on Article 3 from the prior special meeting; the board made the scheduling change by motion of Vice‑Chair William Schwartz, seconded by Julie Isaacs.
Selectboard Chair Stuart Coleman asked the Town Clerk and the designated Election Officer to draft language for a postcard mailing to all registered Winhall voters announcing the new date and to prepare a paper ballot that clearly states the intent of the vote. The board also directed that a campaign area be designated outside the town garage to keep campaigning separate from voting activities.
