Parker County delays Tyler Munis accounting go-live to April 1; payroll go-live pushed to July 1

Finance director Brianna and project staff asked the court to delay the county's planned Tyler Munis accounting go-live from March 1 to April 1 and to set the payroll go-live on a separate schedule after repeated payroll-parallel tests showed unresolved issues with the vendor resource.
"I would feel more comfortable to request the court to move that to April 1," Brianna said, noting the project team moved some items to avoid budgetary impact but still needed time for checks, deposit processes and security roles. Project staff said three payroll parallels were run since September and problems related to taxable imputed benefits and resource expertise remained; after requesting a different vendor resource those issues began to be addressed.
Commissioners approved the date adjustments. Staff said payroll go-live is anticipated July 1, and the county will return with any budgetary impact related to payroll when vendor and project budgeting are complete.
