Johns Creek staff recommend advertising current millage rate of 3.6466 mils for FY2025

Finance staff told the council the standard procedure for the FY2025 property-tax process is to advertise the current millage rate of 3.6466 mils and hold the statutorily required public hearings. "Staff is recommending advertising the current millage rate of 3.6466 mils for the FY2025 process," Finance Director Kaye said, and noted that legal noticing requirements for an election of this type remain unchanged. Councilmembers indicated agreement with advertising the current rate and moving forward with the public-hearing schedule.
