Staff reports new Explore Buffalo County web resources, seeks social media support and intern

Dave Carlson, who presented the committee’s website update, said the Explore Buffalo County economic development page now includes links to financial resources and listings of businesses for sale and that Vision Design Group has been assisting with the site. Carlson told the committee he plans to conduct business visits and asked for committee members to join him as the outreach effort continues to grow.
Administrative Coordinator Lee Engfer added the county is seeking an intern from Winona State University to help promote the county at local events and said the Explore Buffalo County Facebook page needs photos and frequent posts to build an audience. The committee did not take formal action; Carlson said these are ongoing updates and improvements.
