The chair had read a notice listing the committee's purposes: to review and approve executive-session minutes from February 2024 through October 2025; to "conduct a strategy session in preparation for contract negotiations with nonunion personnel, the superintendent"; to hear level-3 grievances involving ASME 90 council and CEA units A and B; to discuss impact bargaining for CEA units A–E; and "to discuss charges brought against the Cambridge School Committee with respect to the 12/06/2024 and 01/12/2025 open meeting law complaints." The meeting was livestreamed at www.cpsd.us and on Cambridge Educational Access TV channel 26, and the chair announced there would be no public comment.
The secretary conducted a roll-call vote. Member Weinstein, Vice Chair Hunter, Member Rachel, Member Rojas and the chair voted in favor; Members Harding and Hudson were recorded as absent. "The motion to go into executive session was approved by the affirmative vote of 5 members, 2 being recorded as absent," the chair said, and the committee entered closed session. The committee did not take further public action at this meeting.
