Jessica Mullins, County Administrator, told the Government Operations Committee on June 1 that county staff completed a Zoom demonstration of CivicPlus’s FOIL product “Next Request” and recommended moving forward with a subscription. Mullins said the county was "very impressed with the software and wish to proceed with streamlining the FOIL process for the County," and provided specific pricing: an annual subscription of $10,788, a prorated cost of $4,424 for Aug. 1–Dec. 31, 2026, and a one-time implementation fee of $1,500.
The committee reviewed an amendment to an existing website-renewal resolution tied to the CivicPlus relationship and, after discussion and edits, had no official objections to sending the CivicPlus FOIL procurement to the full Legislature for approval. The report was entered as information and will appear on the Legislative Meeting agenda for formal action.
