Todd Boger of Bannock County Juvenile Probation notified the board that the office requested $61,367 from the state fiscal year 2027 assessment center millennial fund and received $56,849. He said the award did not cover requested travel and some training costs, which the office plans to cover from the village budget.
Boger described program supports included in the award: funding for a janitor through June, some operating supplies, a technology upgrade to the Apricot system to improve data collection, and an arrangement with the ISU counseling department that would place a clinical supervisor and two master's-level students in the building for assessment, counseling and crisis triage. "We had requested $61,367, of which $56,849 was funded," Boger said.
Commissioners thanked Boger for his grant work and for services to youth. No motions were recorded related to the grant award; Boger said the attestation form was complete and there was no paperwork for the board to sign at the meeting.
