At the end of the Nov. 18 work session, the council voted to convene an executive session to discuss a personnel matter: the city manager review. A councilor moved "I make a motion to go into executive session," the motion was seconded and, following a roll call, councilors and the mayor voted in the affirmative.
The clerk read the statutory basis for the closed meeting as CRS §24‑6‑402(4)(f) (personnel). The roll call recorded: Councilor John Doyle — yes; Councilor Bill Guth — yes; Councilor Ward Allenstein — yes; Councilor Sam Rose — yes; Mayor Tory — yes. The executive session will be recorded and the recording retained by the clerk for at least 90 days, per the clerk's statement at the meeting.
