Staff summarized examples of eligible reimbursements discussed in the meeting: $7,500 for equipment per trained officer, $7,500 information-technology allowance per trained officer, and a one-time $100,000 vehicle allowance per trained officer listed in the MOU language.
Commissioners approved the MOU and acceptance of funds, with staff directed to follow standard county accounting and to seek clarification on reporting and compliance requirements.
