Tinmouth highway crew reports crack-sealing complete, warns Gulf Road erosion needs excavator work

Board members discussed scheduling, equipment availability and the need to protect downstream private property from increased runoff; members asked the road commissioner to check timing and coordinate excavator work when staff and contractor availability align.
The board also discussed roadside mowing hazards and crew safety during high-traffic mowing operations; one member said it can be "so stressful" to work where motorists pass closely. No capital appropriation was approved at the meeting; members asked staff to prioritize Gulf Road repairs before further deterioration.
