Porter PWA allocates $49,500 in remaining OWRB funds to replace lift-station pumps

Deputy Town Clerk Kendra Moore told the board that $49,500.00 remains from the original Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project and needs to be spent. "Deputy Town Clerk Kendra Moore said there is $49,500.00 remaining from the original Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvement Project that needs to be spend. Jackie Todd said the engineers said the pumps at the lift station need to be replaced with new pumps." The board moved and voted to allocate the remaining Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) funds to purchase new lift-station pumps.
Chairman Steve Dickey made the motion to spend the remaining funds and Norma Meyer seconded it. The board recorded votes of Ryan Moore, Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer, Kevin Walker and Lucas Beaty in favor and none opposed.
