Porter PWA approves $6,500 in extra engineering for water transmission line extension

Chairman Steve Dickey told the Porter Public Works Authority that the existing water transmission-line project will be extended and that additional engineering services are needed. "Chairman Steve Dickey said the water line that is being installed under the water line extension project is going to be extended from the water tower to 8th street. He said the engineering services for this extension are going to cost an additional $6,500.00." The board voted to approve the proposal.
Dickey moved to approve the engineering proposal and the motion was seconded by Ryan Moore. The motion carried with Ryan Moore, Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer, Kevin Walker and Lucas Beaty voting yes and none voting no.
