Council approves $400,000 GO Bond allocation for sheriff vehicles

After debate, the council approved $400,000 from the GO Bond for vehicles; the vote was 5-1 with Council member Jim Freiberger opposed.
Separately, a request to fund sheriff vehicles from the Public Safety LIT (vehicles $500,000) was removed from the agenda by motion and the removal was approved unanimously. The Auditor later reflected the Public Safety LIT line-item as not being approved by council action.
