City staff launches artist registry and begins public-art master plan outreach

Olivia, a city staff member leading ACE Committee reports, told the committee the artist registry is now live on the city website and accepts rolling applications. She said staff held an internal kickoff this week for the public-art master plan and will next schedule targeted stakeholder interviews and a community survey to gather public input later this summer. "The next components that will involve you all are the community engagement," Olivia said, asking committee members to be prepared for interview scheduling and outreach.

Olivia also reminded members that the online city calendar is the authoritative source for events, and she encouraged ACE members to flag issues or propose promotional support for programs. She said staff will compile cost and logistics research for ideas the committee prioritizes so council can evaluate funding and implementation options.
