Sean, a planner introduced as representing the Regional Planning Commission, reviewed an updated Enhanced Energy Plan (EEP) draft and the packet's new graphics. He told the commission the updates are largely visual: corrected symbols, larger map layouts and minor language edits to align the town draft with revised statewide guidance. "Mainly, we've got updated statutory stuff, which is kinda graphic mainly, I'd say," Sean said when introducing the changes.
Sean walked members through the maps that begin on page 20, explaining how distribution lines, existing generation sites and generation-capacity dots are shown. He noted the plan displays smaller systems (below 15 kilowatts) and larger installations as separate classes to match state guidance, and proposed separating maps and explanatory text across adjacent pages to keep maps legible. "I'm gonna separate the map out. So I'll put map on 1 page, then we'll go reasoning and description and the map data on the other page," Sean said, and committed to deliver updated maps and wetland clarifications ahead of the July meeting. The commission agreed to defer formal adoption until members can review the revised materials.
