She reported that Lancaster County has 362,741 registered voters in total, of whom 296,067 are eligible for the May 29 primary; 26,149 mail ballots had been requested and 20,028 had been returned as of that morning.
Miller reminded the public that "the polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day." She also said the pre‑canvass of mail ballots would begin the next morning at 7:00 a.m. in Rooms 102/104. Commissioner Joshua G. Parsons thanked Miller for the update and clarified that mail ballots must be returned to the Election Office by 8:00 p.m. the following day.
