High School Principal Irving Smith told the board four Tonasket students completed the CNA program at NV Hospital this summer, receiving positive feedback from the hospital.
Smith also reported about 50 students participated in the Okanogan County Fair. He announced the HS Outstanding Educator Award's first recipient, Nicci Cox, recognized for her work with the Nourishing Champions Grant. The yearbook class—a CTE business course—has been active in fundraising, and the district plans family-oriented events later this year including a social-media and cyber-awareness night.
