High school principal reports fair participation, schedule work and summit attendance

Irving Smith, the high school principal, reported that a large number of Tonasket students are participating in the upcoming fair and that the high school staff used All Staff Day for energy-filled planning and to review building expectations. He said summer-school enrollment and preliminary high-school enrollment figures were reviewed with the board.
Smith also told the board he attended a leadership summit over the summer "which proved to be both informative and featured a great keynote speaker." The high school team is continuing to work on the schedule and is addressing a few remaining kinks before classes begin.
