The board approved multiple tax-roll corrections after staff identified errors. Commissioners voted unanimously to cancel $1,364.14 in taxes for a county-owned aircraft hangar (parcel LRJCAPJ000026B) that had been mistakenly placed on the rolls, cancel $743.94 in taxes, interest and fees for a mobile home no longer on the property (parcel MH0816E324802E), and remove a $1,089.40 refuse fee placed on an exempt parcel (RPJ1370064027B). The board also approved payment of $200 to Flying S Title for litigation-guarantee services tied to that correction.
Tevian Kober and Mark Swenson presented the tax items and recommended the cancellations. Motions approving the cancellations were moved and seconded by commissioners and passed unanimously; the minutes list moving/seconding commissioners for each vote and the dollar amounts for each cancellation.
