The Vernon County Commission on July 1 voted to purchase a countywide Moswin Communication System from Public Safety Solutions MO, LLC for $1,763,966.48. Commissioner Cindy Thompson moved to accept quote #1539 dated June 13, 2025; Commissioner John Shorten seconded and all commissioners voted yes, approving the purchase.
County officials noted the county will work with local emergency agencies — including city responders, fire districts, police and ambulance services — regarding financing of up to $1,763,966.48. Representatives from Public Safety Solutions and local emergency management and ambulance and fire districts attended an earlier meeting to answer questions about the anticipated purchase.
