Chair and staff reviewed a council request to present a revised fee resolution that would allow Johns Creek City staff to pay resident rates for park programs and rentals. "At this point, council has asked that staff bring a revised resolution, to you all for feedback, giving, allowing staff, Johns Creek City staff to pay resident rates for, park programs and rentals," the staff member said, describing the request and materials attached to the agenda.
Staff noted the packet includes two documents (a fee resolution and a nonresident fee resolution) and pointed to the specific changes at the end of section 2 and in sections 3 and 4 where staff exemption language appears. The staff member also provided background: the nonresident rate was established in 2011 and currently applies a 50% upcharge on rentals and programs. Committee members signaled support and staff said she would verify whether the item could be scheduled to go directly to Council, with an approximate six-week timeframe discussed.
